Jason is a 38 y/o U.S. Army Combat Veteran. He was medically discharged and subsequently retired after 11 years of active-duty service and three combat deployments due to injuries sustained.

Photography had always been a hobby for Jason, but it wasn’t until he was discharged, retired, and diagnosed with severe Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder, that he found the process incredibly therapeutic. His passion lies in large-format landscapes and portraits.

Jason has started the process of putting together a coffee-table photo book of Homeless Veterans in the area of Los Angeles County. At the time of this writing, there are currently over 8,000 former men and women of our Armed Forces living on the streets. Jason’s goal is that his photography will help bring the problem to the forefront of the Veteran’s Administration and the city leaders in the hopes that we can start to get these heroes off the streets and into a home that they deserve.
